RIVER STYX BREWING

River Styx Brewing is one of the prime destinations for beer in the area. The beer menu is updated regularly and includes a selection of hard seltzers, double IPAs, hazy IPAs, New England IPAs, lagers, and pilsners. The taproom also hosts a variety of events, including karaoke, poker, trivia, and live music.

The brewery offers indoor and outdoor seating as well as shipping throughout Massachusetts. Kids and dogs are welcome. River Styx encourages visitors to bring their own food, but food trucks are often parked nearby.

WACHUSETT BREWING CO.

Wachusett Brewing Co. is a Massachusetts brewery started by three college students who love craft beer. The brewery has created a selection of award-winning ales and lagers, but you'll also find an array of hard ciders, seltzers, and even cocktails here.

Several beers are available throughout the year, including the Blueberry Ale, Blood Orange ale, Mass Soul IPA, and Wally Juice hazy IPA. Each season also brings a delightful assortment of themed drinks appropriate for the time of year.

THIRSTY ROBOT BREWING

Thirsty Robot Brewing is in Fitchburg, just a short drive from Lunenburg. The brewery and taproom create flavor-packed beers of all varieties, but New England IPAs are the specialty here. On the menu, you'll find IPAs, sour ales, lagers, seltzers, and West Coast IPAs as well.

The patio outside is pet-friendly, and the taproom hosts a variety of events. You'll get a chance to watch live music, join in on trivia, and even do yoga. On the weekends, Thirsty Robot Brewing smokes meats, including ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Throughout the week, the menu includes hot dogs, pierogis, pretzels, sausage, and a variety of snacks. The taproom also allows you to bring your own food.

STERLING STREET BREWERY

Sterling Street Brewery is a taproom featuring a great selection of beers. On the menu, you'll find the taproom's flagship blonde, Hello Clinton, made with Centennial Hops. You'll find hazy pale ales, New England IPAs, Helles lagers, hard seltzers, double IPAs, Belgian Saisons, and sour ales. In the fall, you'll even find a tasty pumpkin spice beer.

Sterling Street is a great option if you're looking for a brewery with events. The taproom offers trivia night, food trucks, live music, and even dance cardio classes. The brewery also hosts Hideout Comedy once per month, as well as the SSB Run Club each week.

LIQUID THERAPY

If you fancy a short drive up to New Hampshire, Liquid Therapy might be your best bet. The brewery is known for unique beer options and fabulous in-house food. The tap list includes double IPAs, sour ales, porters, brown ales, and sometimes delicious pumpkin ales. You'll also find a selection of tacos, hot dogs, sandwiches, desserts, and shareables. There are also food items for the kids too.

The brewery can host events for up to 100 people, and the patio is open seasonally. Plus, the brewery is located in the original firehouse of Nashua, which allows you to get a better look at local history.

STONE COW BREWERY

There's a lot that makes Stone Cow Brewery unique. One of those factors is that the brewery is located on a farm. In fact, the brewery is located on 1,000 acres of a fifth-generation dairy farm. The beer menu rotates frequently, but it often includes lagers, sours, dark beers, IPAs, fruited ales, seltzers, and more.

The farm also has a free music series featuring local talent. Food is available as well. In the summer, the grill lights up and offers a field-to-flame barbecue each weekend. On Thursdays and Fridays, the Barn Kitchen is open for pizza, sandwiches, wings, tacos, and more.

WHITE BIRCH BREWING

In Nashua, New Hampshire, you'll find White Birch Brewing. Since 2009, White Birch Brewing has created delicious beers by hand. The menu features several flagship beers, including sour wheat ales, New England IPAs, and lagers. Rotating favorites and small-batch ales are also available.

The taproom is available for rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, baby showers, and other events. You can even bring home cans of beer to enjoy at home.
